The purpose of the Multicultural Center is to support the preservation and sharing of diverse cultures and the full inclusion of all peoples at all levels of our community.
To these ends, the Multicultural Center provides space for meetings and rehearsals, office support, and other services to diverse groups. The Center sponsors cultural outreach to the larger community and educational programs. It supports efforts to bring groups together, and it advocates for full inclusion. A key goal of the Center is to connect diverse peoples with community resources and to connect organizations, groups and individuals in the community with diverse groups and resources for understanding diverse cultures.
This web site includes a dual set of links to serve the purpose of connecting people. One set of links, “Community Resources,” provides information about and connection to community resources that might be of value to diverse groups and new arrivals. The other set of links, “Diversity Resources,” provides connection with diverse peoples and information about diverse cultures. The web site also provides information about coming events and about the Multicultural Center and its programs.
